One of the most important aims of Summer in the Grove is to give students space and time to give themselves to healthy, intentional spiritual formation. This type of growth and development affects the way that we see God, and the ways that we see ourselves and others. With this in mind, we have developed the summer around these areas:
Living out of a whole heart & soul & developing a relationship with Christ that changes my life on a daily basis.
Intentionally learning & taking the time to wrestle through why I believe what I believe in my relationship with God.
Engaging with those who don’t yet know Jesus in natural ways & overflowing with the good news of the Kingdom of God.
Deepen your relationship with God as you learn to develop personal and collective rhythms of prayer, worship, time in the Word, and rest throughout the week. There also will be extra time to receive mentorship from leaders as you work through homework assignments or any other questions that come up.
Monday, Wednesday, & Thursday mornings are set aside for teaching, training, and impartation. With both Biblical teaching (the fuel) and practical equipping (the function), we believe that you will grow in faith as you receive over 100 hours of discussion-based instruction from our team and other leaders from our region and the nation.
Summer in the Grove is intentionally integrated into our local community. While you will be closely following Jesus within the small group of Summer in the Grove, you will also be an integral part of a larger church community, as well as a part of the small town Grove City community as a whole!

The Summer in the Grove Intensive is a set apart space for learning, growing, and wrestling with the Lord. It is designed to help participants move beyond a place of believing in a belief system, to knowing and following Jesus, the only One who is worthy to give our entire lives to. With the commitment that we will follow Jesus no matter the cost, we choose to dive into topics ranging from sonship and living from a whole heart, to prayer and worship, to disciple-making and missions.
We want to personally invite you to join us for the summer as a way of investing in your relationship with Jesus in a way that will prepare you to grow a love that will last and grow for a lifetime.
“Life changing is an expression we can overuse. But my experience during Summer in the Grove truly gave God the time to significantly shape my heart. There is something about setting time apart to become a student of the Knowing that changes everything.”
– David Wade, Pastor of All Saints Church & SitG alumni
Luke lives in Grove City PA with his wife Amanda, and has been passionate from a young age about others knowing freedom through Jesus. After becoming a successful pilot, in 2021 he had a pivotal encounter with the presence of God that changed his life, and changed his career path. He now is involved in seeing healthy community form in his church and discipling younger believers, while also working for a consulting company.
Amanda was born and raised in Manhattan, New York City and has been living in Grove City since 2023. She is passionate about prayer being a space to encounter the tangible presence of God, and that every person has an opportunity to be transformed by His love manifest in Jesus. Newly married to Luke, they have a vision of being able to receive and disciple people into a life of radical dedication to Jesus.
Abigail and her parents, Brad and Adriane, have been based in Grove City, PA, her whole life. Growing up, she learned how to love and follow Jesus, as well as live missionally. Abigail has a heart for the nations and currently feels called to the Western, “Post-Christian” world, as well as people in the Arts. Abigail is passionate about worship, family, creativity, and seeing her generation fall in love with Jesus and experience rooted revival.
Brad and his wife Adriane live out of a heart to see generations transformed by love. They have been married for 27 years and love following Jesus and sharing life with their daughter, Abigail. After spending over a decade pastoring and church planting, in 2011 the McKoy’s moved to Grove City, PA to pioneer a church community whose mission is to disciple, equip and release sons and daughters of the King to transform every sphere of society for the Glory of God.
We are excited to live life together, diving deeper into learning how to follow Jesus. We have a desire to have this summer be a transformational time where we get to partner to see Ephesians 4:13 walked out…
“‘Till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ;'” Ephesians 4:13
